Lake Nyabikere

The locals named this crater Lake Nyabikere, which translates to “the Lake of Frogs”, because of the several frogs the lake harbors. They can be heard from a distance, especially at night. Nyabikere is a popular birding lake because of the several bird species, it hosts over 100 species.
Lake Nyinambuga
Lake Nyinambuga is another lake in the Ndali-Kasenda region. It is one of the popular lakes as it was once featured on the Uganda National Currency of UGX 20,000 note. Nyinambuga is also one of the largest lakes in the Ndali-Kasenda region.
Lake Lyantonde

Lake Nkuruba
