Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
Meet and greet your tour driver at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Set off from the airport to a hotel in Arusha town, 45 45-minute drive.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park wildlife trip
Leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park- drive or connect by local flight and land at Tarangire airstrip. Have lunch and afterwards, set out for the late afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park which is found southwest of the Southern Maasai land. The park supports a diversity of wildlife including Beisa oryx, African wild dogs, cheetahs, greater kudus, 550 bird species, gerenuk, and more.
Day 3: Full-day game drive (Tarangire)
With a packed lunch, embark on a long day guided game drive to see a variety of animals in Tarangire National Park. Abundant wildlife to be spotted today include cheetahs, kudus, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and bird species.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the safari lodge and embark on the morning game viewing. After, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder that spans 8300 sq. km and hosts big game, cheetahs, and other wildlife.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater wildlife excursion
Leave the lodge for your game drive through Ngorongoro Crater. This protected area will reward you with incredible animal encounters including elands, endangered rhinos, elephants, hartebeests, zebras, and hippos. In the evening, you will be relaxing at the safari lodge where dinner and a night stay will be had.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Start your road trip from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park. This park holds the 2nd biggest terrestrial mammal migration on planet Earth, with 70 large mammals, 500 species of birds, and diverse habitats like swamps, riverine forests, woodlands, kopjes, and grassland. Day 7: Watch wildebeest migration & big 5
Day 7 is dedicated for you to explore and experience Serengeti NP to the fullest. Get up close and personal with wildlife, especially wildebeests as they migrate in search for pasture and water, large lion prides, elephants, hyenas, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs and birds.
Day 8: Get back to Arusha for departure
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and after, head back to Arusha where you will catch up with departing flight back home or remain at the hotel awaiting to connect to your next destination. This will mark the end of your spectacular 8 Days Tanzania Northern Circuit Safari.
