7 Days Uganda Wildlife Adventure

The 7 days Uganda wildlife adventure promises an unforgettable savanna game viewing experience, taking you through the Northwestern and Western safari circuit destinations. You can look forward to exploring Uganda’s finest wildlife safari parks, including Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park. This trip covers game drives to see savanna wildlife and a boat/launch cruise to enjoy great encounters with aquatic life. Your wildlife adventure starts and ends in Kampala/Entebbe, taking 6 nights and 7 days.

Day 1: Wildlife Adventure tour to Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up early and enjoy a tasty cup of tea or coffee. Afterward, meet a company representative for a briefing about this special wildlife adventure holiday and then begin your road trip to Uganda’s biggest park, Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison Falls National Park is located in Northwestern Uganda, and you will get there along the Kampala-Gulu highway. This will include stopovers en route, especially at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, located in Nakitoma, Nakasongola district, and Masindi town for lunch. Then, access the park via Kichumbanyobo gate. Drive straight to the top of the falls, but don’t miss primate encounters at Kaniyo-Pabidi/Budongo Forest as you proceed to the northern sector.

Day 2: Game drive & launch trip

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on a 6:00 am game drive along the Northern circuit of Murchison Falls NP for 2-3 hours. In a comfortable 4×4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, you can expect to enjoy the sight of varied wildlife like elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, antelopes such as oribis, hartebeests, waterbucks, and others. After the drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch, where you can relax and refresh before the next adventure.

At 2:00 pm, you will be expected at the Paraa jetty for a memorable launch cruise expedition on the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls NP. Various aquatic species will be spotted before you reach the base of Murchison Falls, including hippos, crocodiles, and birds like bee-eaters, kingfishers, etc.

Day 3: Long day drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast early in the morning after leaving Murchison Falls NP for Queen Elizabeth N/P via Hoima oil city, Fort Portal tourism city, and the Kasese route. Lunch will be served upon arrival at Fort Portal City. Enjoy the refreshing cool air and view the Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth NP via Kasese and have enough time to relax at the lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth Park game drive & launch cruise tour

I hope you enjoy a hefty breakfast in the morning, and after, begin your game drive expedition along the Kasenyi Plains. This will go for 2-3 hours and comes with remarkable sightings of animals, including large herds of buffalo, leopards, elephants, lions, antelopes, birds, etc.

After the game drive, a sumptuous lunch will be served at your accommodation, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and rejuvenate. Later, you will set off for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, adding to your wildlife adventure with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and various aquatic birds.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth NP- Lake Mburo National Park

Following a hefty breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Mburo National Park via the Bushenyi route. Settle for lunch at the safari lodge at Mburo NP and have a relaxed evening sharing your experiences.

Day 5: Game drive & launch cruise wildlife adventure

The game drive along the savanna grassland of Lake Mburo National Park starts early in the morning after breakfast. Today’s game drive includes incredible animal sightings such as zebras, giraffes, bushbucks, elands, topis, leopards, reedbucks, buffaloes, impalas, and plenty of bird species. Drive back to enjoy lunch at the lodge, and in the afternoon, there will be a launch/boat cruise along Lake Mburo for you to see more aquatic life, in addition to the previous one you had in other destinations.

Day 6: Cycling or horseback riding & community visit

Enjoy a hefty breakfast early in the morning, and set off for a cycling tour to immerse yourself in the wilderness to see wildlife on your bicycle or horseback for those who will undertake horseback rides. After incredible sightings of wildlife in Lake Mburo NP, return and settle for lunch, then in the afternoon/evening, visit the nearby local community to explore and experience the Ankole cultures and traditions.

Day 7: Depart Lake Mburo National Park  for Kampala/Entebbe

Wake up early for breakfast. After that, check out, and today, you will spend it driving back to Kampala/Entebbe city. This marks the end of your seven-day Uganda wildlife adventure.
