Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon your arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our driver guide. He or she will greet and brief you about your 7 Days Luxury Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Safari from Kigali. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Kibale National Park. Usually referred to as “The Primate Capital of the World”, Kibale National Park is an amazing place to be for your safari. Lunch will be along the way. As soon as you arrive, you will visit the Bigodi Wetland and take amazing community tours. The banana man will introduce you to the locally-made banana beer. Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
This is one of the most iconic days in your 7 Days Luxury Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Safari. the day starts with an early breakfast. You will drive to the Kanyanchu Park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will walk through the lush green forests in search of the chimpanzees. Once you meet these primates, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch. You will then drive to Lake Bunyonyi. The journey is somewhat long but the views of the Rwenzori Mountains are worth the effort.
