Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Jinja for water rafting
On arrival in Uganda, you will be picked up from the airport in Entebbe by the company guide. He or she will brief you about the 6 days water rafting and gorilla safari. You will then transfer to Jinja for a white water rafting experience. Exploit the many activities done at the Source of the River Nile. Remember you are at the source of the world’s longest River. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 2 of the 6 days of water rafting and gorilla safari, you will start with an early morning breakfast. Then proceed with the transfer to the Bwindi impenetrable national park for the gorilla trekking. On your transfer, you will have a stopover in Mbarara for your lunch. Later on, you will go ahead with a transfer to the Bwindi impenetrable national park. When you arrive at the park, you will be checked into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour
You will have an early morning breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. During the briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 people since each gorilla family is visited by a group of 8 people a day. Then after the briefing, you will proceed into the park for the amazing gorilla trekking. The activity will last for 2 to 7 hours of the day upon when you meet the gorillas. As you meet the gorillas, you will have one hour with them while viewing them in their natural habitat. After the gorilla trekking, you will go ahead for the community visit of the Batwa who are believed to be the inhabitants of the Bwindi forests. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will start your day with a leisurely breakfast. Later on, you will be transferred from the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the Lake Mburo National Park. As you arrive in the park, you will start over with the lunch. Then after your lunch, you will have an afternoon nature walk on the Lake Mburo National Park. During the walk, you will see different wildlife like hippos, impalas, Kobs, zebras, and many other wildlife. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, you will wake up to a delicious cup of tea or coffee. You will embark on a game drive in the savannah plains of the park. This game drive will enable you to see the early risers of the park. Lake Mburo National Park is home to many wildlife and bird species. During the game drive, you will see different wildlife like zebras, impalas, giraffes, and many others. After the game drive, you will move back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This is a chance to see aquatic species and interact with the local members of the communities. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. You will bid farewell to the team and mark the end of your 6 days water rafting and gorilla safari.
