Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Kampala City Tour
Welcome to Uganda on your 6 days group tour. It all starts with a pickup from the Entebbe International Airport upon your arrival. This is followed by an amazing tour around Kampala city. This is a city with a rich history – both political and cultural. Some of the places to be visited include; the Kasubi Tombs, Bulange-Mengo King’s Palace, Bahai Temple, and many more. This is a chance for you to interact with the locals as you purchase fresh fruits from the markets. Lunch will be at any hotel in town. Later on, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up to a delicious meal and hit the road to Lake Mburo National Park. You will make a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photography and some experiments. Lunch will be along the way. Enjoy scenic views of the endless rolling hills of Uganda. You enter the park through the Nshara Gate. Proceed to Lake Mburo as you enjoy views of wildlife. During the boat cruise, you will see hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 3 of your 6 Days Uganda Group Tour, you will wake up to a hot cup of tea or coffee. Later on, you will take a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. The park is home to many wildlife species. These include; leopards, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and giraffes. In the afternoon, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with an en-route lunch. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour
This is the best day on your 6 Days Uganda Group Tour. Start the day with an early breakfast at your lodge. You will then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will visit the park and search for the designated mountain gorilla family. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Later on, you will break off for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, you will visit the neighboring Batwa Communities. Take part in many of their chores and learn about their history including hunting and fruit gathering.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is Uganda’s popular safari destination and is home to the rare tree-climbing lions. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, you will take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. You will come across hippos and crocodiles. It is a chance to interact with the local fishermen as well. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala – Departure
Morning breakfast will be at leisure on this day. Check out of the lodge and take a morning game drive in either the Kasenyi sector or Ishasha Sector. You will encounter wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and many more. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to many bird species. Some of the birds are migratory while others are rift valley endemics. Later on, you will embark on the drive to Kampala. Lunch will be along the way. The drive guide will drop you off at the Entebbe airport for an outbound flight. Alternatively, you may be dropped off at a hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe.
