Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe City Tour and transfer to a hotel

Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about the 6 Days Flying Uganda Gorilla and Entebbe Tour Safari. You will embark on a half-day tour of Entebbe town. You will visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens as well as the Uganda Wildlife Education Center. This center is what was formerly known as Entebbe Zoo. You will spot magical species including the rare Bengal tigers. Lunch will be along the way. In the evening, you will check in to your hotel in Entebbe. Have dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Fly to Kisoro Airstrip and Walk to the falls

After breakfast, you will meet our company driver, he or she will drive you to the airport. Here, you will be aboard a chartered domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. Our driver will be waiting for you at the airstrip. Meet and greet and then drive to a hotel in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in to your booked lodge for lunch. Later on, you will take a guided walk into the forests as you head to Munyaga Falls. You will be excited by the community members you meet along the way. You will also enjoy views of diverse bird species. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour

After breakfast at about 6:00 am, you will report to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to track along with an experienced guide. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. During this tour, you will see many other primates like colobus monkeys. Bwindi is a haven for bird lovers. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon, you will visit the nearby Batwa communities. These are believed to be the ancient dwellers of the forests. You will take part in many activities like making fire, traditional dancing, harvesting, brewing local beer, and many more. Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Fly to Entebbe and Kampala city tour

After breakfast, you will drive to Kisoro Airstrip for an Entebbe-bound flight. Upon arrival, you will drive to Kampala. Have lunch and take on the amazing city tour. The tour will take you to places like Kasubi Tombs, Gadhafi Mosque, Bahai Temple, and many more. You will walk the Mengo Royal Mile. You will then drive back to Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Entebbe Equator Experience and city tour

On the 5^th day of your 6 Days Flying Uganda Gorilla and Entebbe Tour Safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast. You will enjoy scenic views of Lake Victoria while at your hotel. Later on, you will explore Entebbe town at length. You will visit the Equator and take that picture stepping into the two hemispheres of the earth at the same time. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport – Departure

If your outbound flight is not early morning, you may not wake up early. Whatever it is. This is your last day with us. Wake up to a delicious breakfast.
