5 Days Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda
Welcome to the 5 days Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda will take you through the Uganda and Kenya destinations. While in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, you will engage in a game drive where you will spot a variety of wildlife, and also in the chimpanzee orphanage to see several orphan chimpanzees. Continuing with the safari, you will visit Kibale National Park for a Bigodi community visit and Chimpanzee trekking in the forests of the park. The safari will encounter the large primate’s chimpanzee and the safari will start from Kenya and end in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
On day 1 of the 5 days of Ol Pejeta Conservancy and chimpanzee trekking in Uganda, you will start over with the transfer from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The transfer to this conservancy will take about 4 to 5 hours of the day and on arrival, you will start over with lunch. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the chimpanzee orphanage using the motorized boats. As you arrive at the orphanage, you will engage in several chimpanzee orphanages. Later in the evening, you will continue with the transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-day adventure in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Day 2 will start with the morning breakfast and then go ahead with the morning game drive in the conservancy. The game drive will offer you the opportunity to spot several wildlife in the conservancy like Lions, leopards, buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants, rhinos, and many others. In the afternoon, you will engage in the lion tracking where you will be guided by several researchers in the conservancy.

Day 3: Transfer to Nairobi and fly to Uganda
You will go ahead with the morning breakfast and then proceed with a transfer to Nairobi. Drive to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight to Uganda. On arrival in Uganda, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
While in Kampala, you will start over with a morning breakfast and then proceed to the transfer to the Kibale National Park. The transfer to the Kibale National Park takes about 5 hours and on arrival in the park, you will start over with lunch and then proceed to the Bigodi for a community walk. In the Bigodi community, you will engage in several activities like coffee roasting, community walks, banana brewing, and many others.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Kampala
On the last day of the safari, you will continue to the park headquarters for the briefing about chimpanzee trekking where you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the chimpanzee trekking. You will go ahead with the activity which will take about 2 to 7 hours. Later on, you will continue to the transfer to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights.
