During the 5 days luxury Rwanda gorilla safari, you will experience the wilderness of Rwanda. Details of the safari

Day 1: Airport Pick up and transfer to the Akagera National Park

On your first day of the 5 days luxury Rwanda gorilla safari, you will be transferred to the Akagera National Park. This is the only savannah park in Rwanda in the eastern part of the country.  Upon arrival in the park, you will start with lunch and you will be left to relax for the rest of the day. An optional afternoon guided nature walk is also a good afternoon adventure on a Rwanda tour. In the evening, you will have dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Full-day adventure in Akagera National Park

You will be transferred to the park headquarters after your early morning breakfast for the morning game drive to view the wildlife. During the game drive, you will see several wildlife species.  These include; Lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, and many others. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Lake Ihema for the boat cruise. While on the boat cruise, you will see several wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the western part of the country in the Volcanoes National Park. On arrival in the park, you will check in to the lodge as you prepare for the next day’s adventure. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the endless rolling hills of Rwanda.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park

On day 4 of the 5 days luxury Rwanda gorilla safari, you will head to the park headquarters for the briefing about the gorilla trekking. During the briefing, you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts of the gorilla trekking. Later on, you will go ahead with the gorilla trekking.  The activity will last for about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. Later on, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla Guardians Village Tour & Transfer to Kigali

On your last day of the safari, you will start with a visit to the Gorilla Guardian Village for the amazing cultural experience of the Rwandese. During the cultural experience, you will engage in cultural dances, local beer brewing, and many others. Then you will go ahead with the transfer to Kigali city to the Kigali International Airport for an outbound flight. This will mark the end of your 5 days luxury Rwanda gorilla safari.
