5 Days Gorillas and White-Water Rafting Safari
The 5 days gorillas and white-water rafting safari is one of the best tour packages in Uganda. The safari is best for primate enthusiasts as well as adventure lovers. During this tour, you will do a gorilla trekking expedition in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is famous for being home to half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will transfer to Jinja for an amazing white-water rafting excursion. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by a company guide who will first highlight to you the 5 days gorillas and white-water rafting safari. After the highlight, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch will be along the way. You will also perform some experiments at the Uganda Equator. Once you arrive in the park, you will head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing and highlights about the gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will start with the gorilla trekking within the forest. The activity will last for 2 to 7 hours of the day. Once you meet the gorillas, you can spend one hour in their presence. Then after the gorilla trekking you will visit the Batwa community for the cultural experience. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. This marks one of the best days on your 5 days gorillas and white-water rafting safari.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala
After your early morning breakfast, you will embark on a transfer to Kampala. Traverse through the endless rolling hills and swamps along the Mbarara – Masaka – Kampala highway. Feel free to tell your driver for photography at any place that catches your attention. You will have lunch along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: White-water rafting on River Nile
You will have a transfer from Kampala to Jinja after your early morning breakfast. The drive to Jinja through the Mabira forest and the sugar plantations will take about 3 hours of travel. When you arrive in Jinja, you will be transferred to the River Nile where white-water rafting is done. You will start with the briefing and then later you will be given the rafting gears. This is a full day of rafting on the River Nile. You may as well visit the source of the Nile River and hike to the top of Ssezibwa Falls. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to your hotel in Jinja.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
After your morning breakfast on the last day of the 5 days of gorillas and white-water rafting, you will move ahead to the source of the Nile for the boat cruise. After your boat cruise, you head to Jinja City for lunch. Later, you will be transferred back to Entebbe. When you arrive in Entebbe, you will either be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flights or at the hotel of your choice. Bid farewell to our team and mark the end of your safari.
