5 Days Chimpanzee and Gorilla Habituation Safari
The 5 days chimpanzee and gorilla habituation safari will offer you the opportunity to interact with primates that are one the endemic creatures in the world. During their habituation, the travelers on their Uganda safari will have more time with the chimps and gorillas. The gorilla habituation will be in the southwestern part of Uganda in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here, you will visit the gorillas in their natural habitat and spend 4 hours with them. Then the day you will proceed with the chimpanzee habituation in the Kibale National Park where during this activity you will have a full day with chimpanzees. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Kibale National Park
On your first day of the 5 days chimpanzee and gorilla habituation safari, you will meet the company guide. He or she will highlight you about the safari. Then, you will proceed with the transfer from Kampala to the Kibale National Park. As you proceed to journey to Kibale, you will experience the change in the area vegetation cover. You will have lunch along the way. Upon arrival at the park, go to the Bigodi community for the amazing cultural experience in the area. You will engage in different activities like the coffee experience, banana beer brewing, and many others. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee habituation in Kibale National Park
On this day, you will start with a meal. Later, go to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee habituation. Later on, you will embark on the chimpanzee habituation within the park. Kibale is a real primate capital of the world. Upon meeting the chimpanzees, you will have a 4hours in their presence. You will be accompanied by forest rangers. Your packed lunch will be ready as the activity goes on. Then you will continue with the activity studying their behaviours and characters. During this activity, you will be able to see other primates and bird species. Later on, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Start your day with a morning breakfast and embark on the journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you proceed with the journey, you will experience a change in the vegetation cover. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to see the different wildlife species while on your transfer to the Bwindi impenetrable national park. Lunch will be along the way. As you arrive in the Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Habituation Experience Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On your second last day of the 5 days chimpanzee and gorilla habituation safari, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla habituation. Then later, you will proceed with the activity within the forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have 4 hours interacting with them. Get to know their behaviors and their ways of living. Return to your lodge for relaxation. If you are strong enough, you will proceed with the community tour and create a signature of memories with these natives. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala – Departure
On the last day of your safari, you will start with breakfast. Check out of the lodge and proceed with the transfer back to Kampala. As you arrive in Mbarara, you will have your route lunch. The second stopover will be at the Uganda Equator for photography. Upon arriving in Kampala, you will either be transferred to the airport or hotel. This will mark the end of the 5 days of chimpanzee and gorilla habituation safari.
