The 4 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari from Kigali will take you to southwestern Uganda in several destinations like Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be picked by the company guide who you will spend the next days for your safari. You will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival in the park, you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community visit
You will start the day with a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. During the briefing, you will be highlighted about the dos and don’ts of the activity. Later on, you will go ahead with the gorilla trekking which will take 2 to 7 hours of the day. Then you will have 1 hour of viewing the gorillas. After the gorilla trekking, you will be transferred to the community. During the community visit, you will encounter Batwa who are believed to be the inhabitants of the forests of the Bwindi.

Day 3: Explore Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will have a relaxed morning and then you will go ahead with the transfer from Bwindi to the lake Bunyonyi. The transfer will take about 2 to 3 hours of the day and on arrival, you have time to relax as you prepare for lunch and the boat cruise. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will be transferred to the lake for the boat cruise. During the boat cruise, you will see different islands and you will learn about their history. In the evening you will be transferred to the lodge near the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 4: golden monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali
On the last day of the safari, you will start over with the morning breakfast. Then you will be transferred to the park headquarters for the briefing about the golden monkey trekking. Then later on you will go ahead with the golden monkey trekking. After the golden monkey trekking, you will be transferred back to Kigali through Cyanika border. On arrival in Kigali, you will choose to either be dropped at the airport for your outbound flights or the hotel of your choice.
