Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park – Karatu and afternoon game drive

A company driver guide from Native Africa Tours will pick you up from either the airport or a hotel in Arusha. He or she will brief you about the 4 days luxury Tanzania safari. What waits is the 2 to 3-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will pass by Masai herdsmen taking their goats and cattle to search for greener pastures. You will not wait for anything before you head out for an amazing game drive in the mighty Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is a famous destination for having both small and giant tourist attractions.

Take time to look for lizards that camouflage depending on temperatures. Other animals to expect include elephants, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Perhaps a solitary male lion stretched out beneath a tree, perhaps a trio of male cheetahs enjoying some lazy bonding time in the sun. Maybe some graceful Grant’s gazelle or zebra bounding away from the road or a couple of giraffes munching happily from the choicest acacia branches. For Tarangire specialties, look out for kudu and oryx. Lunch and dinner will be at your accommodation facility in Karatu.

Day 2: Morning game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After a mouthwatering breakfast, you will for yet another game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your driver guide will be ready to answer all your questions while you witness the beauty of the crater. There are not so many places to see such beauty, make the most out of your game drive. Snap memorable moments and take a deep breath in the wilderness. With thousands of predators – and their prey numbering in the hundreds of thousands – it is no surprise that there is always something fascinating happening amongst the wildlife populations. Your driver-guide may find you lion, leopard, elephant, zebra, cheetah, and antelope on today’s safari.

After a delicious lunch, you will take a 2-3-hour drive northwards to Serengeti National Park. This is Tanzania’s most famous safari destination. This is where the world’s greatest animal migration takes place. You will check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 3: Full-day game drives in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will go for yet an amazing adventure on your 4 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari. Depending on your travel season, you will explore one of the 3 sectors of the park. The Seronera and Kogatende regions usually stand out from June to September. You will witness the wildebeests cross some of the rivers in the park. River crossings make the migration an iconic scene. Animals are guided by instincts to take a leap of faith as they dodge the deadly predators. Of course, some fall victim to the circumstances and survival is only for the fittest. Your driver-guide will show you some predators like hyenas, cheetahs, lions, leopards, and many grazers. An epic bush lunch or sundowner will be organized in the middle of nowhere. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Transfer to Arusha – Departure

After breakfast, you will take your last shot in Tanzania’s extensive savannah plains. This might include visiting the local communities or a game drive in Serengeti as you head to Arusha. The game drive will allow you to see what you might have missed the previous days. Lunch will be along the way. The driver will drop you either at a hotel of your choice in Arusha. Alternatively, he will drop you off at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight as you may advise. This will mark the end of your 4 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari.
