This 3 Days Uganda Gorillas From Kigali safari will start from Rwanda. It involves gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Visit the Ugandan Bwindi impenetrable National Park one of the two parks that protect the endangered mountain gorillas. It is located in the far southern parts of Uganda, it will take you through different attractions like gorillas, blue monkeys, and maybe beautiful birds like the green broadbill.
The main activity of the tour will be gorilla trekking which will expose you to the remaining gentle giants for an hour and have a rest at Lake Bunyonyi. Day1. Pick from Kigali and cross to Bwindi National Park
On your arrival at Kigali airport one of our company driver guides will welcome you from your journey immediately take you through a short briefing about the tour and then depart to Bwindi impenetrable national park of Uganda. Pass the border of Cyanika as you cross to Uganda and enjoy the beautiful scenes of Kabale a hilly area that is well known for fertile soils and cereal growing. On your arrival from a 4-hour journey, check in at any of the accommodation facilities nearby Bwindi NP, have your lunch, and rest for the next day’s activity.
Day2. Gorilla trekking and relax at Lake Bunyonyi
Wild animals are always active in the morning. Hence, you will wake up very early in the morning to prepare yourself. Enjoy breakfast then depart to the park’s ranger stations for check-in and briefing. As soon as the briefing is done, start your trekking while are in the park. Expect to see so many attractive animals like the blue monkeys, elephants, and many beautiful birds like the green broadbill.
It will take almost 2-8 hours while trekking and only one hour will be spent in the presence of the gorillas. Once the activity is done, head back to the park offices for check-out. On reaching the lodge have your hot lunch and organize to go to L. Bunyonyi for relaxation.
While in Lake Bunyonyi enjoy the scenic view of Lake Bunyonyi as you take your refreshing fruit juice. Have a night at Bunyonyi overland resort gathering around the fire as you enjoy nature.
Day3. Drive back to Kigali and optional city tour
On the last day of your tour wake up early pack your luggage and have your breakfast. The assigned driver guide will take you back to Kigali. You can opt to change the crossing point and pass at Katuna the other border crossing from Uganda to Rwanda. On reaching Kigali, opt to have an optional activity of visiting the genocide memorial center. You will learn about the history of Rwanda.
