3 Days Lake Mburo Birding Safari
Welcome to this special 3 days Lake Mburo birding tour. Over 350 species of birds are in the Lake Mburo National Park. During the safari, you will see more of the acacia bird species. While in the park Rubanga forest with a lot of forest species and migratory species. The other activities while on the 3 days Lake Mburo birding safari, include the boat cruise on Lake Mburo and game drives.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to the Lake Mburo National Park and boat cruise
On day one of the 3 days Lake Mburo birding safari, you will start over with the transfer to the Lake Mburo National Park which takes about 3 to 4 hours of the day. Upon arrival in the park, you will start over with lunch and then later you will go ahead with the afternoon boat cruise as you site different bird species since the park is home to over 350 bird species. During the boat cruise, you will see different species like the shoe bill stock, sable billed stock, greater painted snipe, yellow-throated long claw, and many others.

Day 2: Full day in the Lake Mburo National Park
You will start day 2 with an early morning birding session within the park. During this time, you will be able to see a number of the birds in the different areas of the park. You will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and then you will be transferred to the Rubanga forest reserve within the park for the search of birds. While in the Rubanga forest, you will see birds like the Black-billed barbet, rufous napped, and many others. You will also see other wildlife like the giraffes, zebras impalas and many others.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Kampala
You will start over with an early morning game drive, while on the game drive you see different wildlife like buffaloes, impalas, kobs, and zebras and on a lucky day you will see some leopards. Then you will return to the lodge for breakfast. Later you will check out and head back to Kampala. As you arrive in Kampala, you will be transferred to the airport or hotel of your choice which will mark the end of the safari.
