13 Days Combined Kenya and Tanzania Safari

The 13 days combined Kenya and Tanzania safaris will take you to the Kenya and Tanzania safari destinations. The safari will start in Tanzania Arusha and end in Kenya Nairobi. The viewing of the wildlife and cultural encounters will be the activities during the safari around the destinations of both countries.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: pick up from the Kilimanjaro international airport to Arusha.

On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet the company guide who will transfer to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will start over with dinner and then be left to rest as you prepare for the adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will start with the transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park. It will take about 2 hours to reach the Park. On arrival in the park, you will start over with lunch and then in the afternoon, you will go for canoeing on the lake Manyara. During the canoeing on the lake, you will see wildlife like flamingos, hippos, and many others. You will also interact with the local fishermen around the lake.

Day 3: Full-day Adventure in the Lake Manyara National Park

You will start over with an early morning breakfast and then go ahead with the full-day adventure within the park. During the full-day adventure, you will start with the morning game drive where you will see several wildlife like lions, leopards, large herds of elephants, olive baboons, and many others. Later on, you will have your picnic lunch in the park at a viewpoint of the park. In the afternoon, you will go ahead with the game to see several wildlife in the park. Then in the evening, you will dine at Lake Manyara for refreshments and the sunset views.

Day 4: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

During day 4, you will start with the morning breakfast and then go ahead with the Transfer to the Tarangire National Park. The transfer will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. As you arrive in the park, you will be left to rest for the rest as you prepare for lunch. Later on in the afternoon, you will start over with the game drive and a walk around the park. The walk will take you through seeing and sitting several wildlife in the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game drive and Transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area.

You will start the day with the morning game drive through the park to sight several wildlife within the park. The wildlife site will include elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes, warthogs, and many others. Then in the afternoon, you will go ahead and transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  you will take about 2 hours to reach the park. As you arrive in the conservation area, you will start will dine in the park for the evening relaxation with some refreshments. Then you will later transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 6: Full-day adventure in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

In the morning, you will start over with the hot air balloon which will give you a view of the crater while in the air. While on the air balloon safaris, you will see several wildlife like elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, and many others. You will go ahead with the picnic breakfast within the park. In the afternoon, you will drive into the crater for the game viewing and the wildlife that will be sited include the Lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, rhinos, and many others.

Day 7: Transfer to the Serengeti National Park

After the morning breakfast, you will start over with the game viewing of the crater floor. A variety of wildlife will be seen grazing including; Elephants, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and many others. In the afternoon, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Serengeti National Park. The transfer will take about 2 hours to reach the park.

Day 8: Game drive and transfer to the northern sector of the Serengeti National Park

We are now almost towards the end of your 13 days combined Kenya and Tanzania safari. As you are in the southern sector of the Serengeti National Park, you will start with an adventure within the park. The game viewing in the park will allow siting the big five animals of the park. The wildlife in the park includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and many others. Later on, you will start over with the transfer to the northern sector of the Park. During the transfer, you will see several wildlife grazing like zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and many others. While on arrival in the Northern sector, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to the Isibania border and the Masai Mara National Reserve

In the morning, you will start with the route game drive as you transfer to the Isibania border. After checking in to the migration office, you will start with the transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 10: Full-day adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve

You will start over with the morning game drive and several wildlife like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many others. You will return to the lodge for relaxation and then in the afternoon, you will go ahead with the game drive with the park. In the evening, you will have the site viewing within the park as you view the sunset.

Day 11: Visit the Masai village and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Masai community for the cultural encounter. During the visit, you will encounter the Masai in different activities like the cultural dance, food cuisine, and many others. Later on, you will transfer to the Lake Nakuru National Park. The transfer will take about 5 hours of the day.

Day 12: Game drive and transfer to the Aberdare National Park.

You will start the day with a game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park. During the game drive, you will see several wildlife like rhinos, elephants, hippos, leopards, lions, and many others. Later on, you will be transferred to the Aberdare National Park. This transfer will take about 3 hours to reach the park.

Day 13: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi

 On your last day of the safari, you will start over with the game drive within the park and several wildlife will be cited like leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many others. In the afternoon, you will start over with the transfer to Nairobi, and on arrival, you will either be transferred to the Airport for your outbound flights or to the hotel of your choice in Nairobi. This will mark the end of your 13 days combined Kenya and Tanzania safari.
