Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Wetland tour
After you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company representative. He or she will brief you about the 12 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Zanzibar Holiday. Hit the road to Kibale National Park. The park is a primate home and it is where chimpanzee tours are mainly done in Uganda. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, you will take a walk around the Magombe Wetland and do a community tour in the Bigodi Village. Check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking. You will be briefed about the chimpanzee trekking etiquette. With the help of a professional ranger guide, you will be able to meet the chimps in time. Spend one hour in their presence before returning to your lodge for lunch. Later on, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 3: Morning game drive in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge and take on a game drive in the Ishasha Sector. You will meet the tree-climbing lions and many other wildlife species. Proceed with an en-route lunch to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour
Start your 4th day of the 12 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Zanzibar Holiday with an early breakfast. Head out for mountain gorilla trekking in the thickets of Bwindi. The activity will start with a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. Upon meeting the gorillas, trekkers will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa communities for an amazing cultural tour. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala
On this day, you will have breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive to Kampala. Lunch will be along the way. Another stopover will be at the Uganda Equator for photography and experiments. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Fly to Arusha – Tanzania
Start your day with a lovely meal. You will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for a flight to Arusha – Tanzania. Continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight once you arrive.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, meet our Tanzania safari guide. He or she will take you on the road to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, you will take a game drive or visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum to see the remains of early man. The park is home to many wildlife species including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and many more. Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning game drive and transfer to Serengeti National Park
You will wake up to a delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge, and go for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater region. Visit the world’s largest volcanic crater as you head for lunch. You will then proceed to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge or tented safari camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Full-day game drives in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The park is the place for witnessing the great wildebeest migration experience. Lunch will be under a tree or near a hippo pool for great wildlife encounters. Some of the animals to be spotted include; warthogs, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, wildebeests, giraffes, and many more. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha with an en-route lunch. Here, you will board a flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, check in to your booked hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Explore Zanzibar – Stone Town and Beach tours
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast at your lodge. The day is all yours to explore this amazing island. You will visit the Stone Town area and the Museums. Take part in some of the many activities on the island. These include; scuba diving, swimming, fishing, snookering, and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.

Day 12: Departure
