The thrilling adventure of the 11 days Uganda and Kenya fly-in tour will take you through Uganda and Kenya’s amazing safari destinations. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival in Uganda (Entebbe International Airport), our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The transfer will take about 7 to 8 hours of the day. Upon arrival in the park, you will check in to a lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Tour

You will start the day with a morning breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. Make sure you have all the requirements including a valid gorilla permit. Then you will go ahead with the activity in the park which will take about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Later on, you will continue with a community visit to the Batwa villages. During the visit, you will engage in several activities like coffee roasting, cultural dances, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your morning breakfast, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The transfer will take about to reach the park. You will arrive in the southern sector of the park and then you will start over with lunch. After your lunch, you will start over with the game drive to sight several wildlife like tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, and many others. Then you will continue to the northern sector to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park

The full-day adventure in the park will start with a morning game drive in the northern sector. A game drive in the Kasenyi plains takes you through endless savannah plains. Enjoy viewing wildlife like lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, kobs, warthogs, leopards, and many others. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. During the boat cruise, you will have a view of the wildlife with the waters and banks of the water body. The wildlife seen will include the hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many others.

Day 5 Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Wetland Walk

On day five of the 11 days Uganda and Kenya fly-in tour, you will start over with the transfer to Kibale National Park. The transfer will take about 3 hours and upon arrival, you will start over with lunch. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Bigodi community for a community experience. While in the community, several activities like cultural dances, coffee roasting, banana brewing, and many others. It is during this walk that you will see many species of birds including the elusive blue Rwenzori turaco. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Kampala

You will start your day with the morning breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about chimpanzee trekking.  After clearing with the officials, the real expedition begins. Chimpanzee trekking in Uganda is one of the best African safari activities you should not miss. You will meet many baboons along the way. Upon meeting a chimpanzee family, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Take as many pictures as you wish but comply with the chimpanzee trekking rules and regulations. Later on, you will continue with the transfer to Kampala. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, relax, dine, and spend the night over.

Day 7: Fly to Kenya

On day 7, you will have a scheduled chartered flight to Kenya. On arrival in Kenya at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be transferred to a hotel for your lunch and relaxation. Later on, you will visit the National Museum in Nairobi where you will learn about the history of the country.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will go ahead with the morning breakfast and then transfer to the Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival in the park, you will start over with lunch and then relaxation. Later on, you will have a walk around the park and you will have an evening picnic around the lake as you have a view of the lake Nakuru.

Day 9: Game drive and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Day 9 will start with a morning breakfast and then you will go ahead with the game drive in the park. During the game drive, several wildlife like buffaloes, rhinos giraffes, impalas, hippos, flamingos, and many others. Then later in the afternoon, you will transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.  Upon arrival in the reserve, you will be transferred from the airfield to the tented camp for the rest of the day.

Day 10: Full-day adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve

On the second last day of the 11 days Uganda and Kenya fly-in tour or safari, you will start with a game drive in Masai Reserve. During the game within the savannah plains, you will have a view of several wildlife like lions, leopards, hippos, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many others. Then, you will transfer to the Masai Triangle area for more viewing of the wildlife. In the evening, you will be transferred to the tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Visit Masai village and fly to Nairobi

On the last day of the 11 days Uganda and Kenya fly tour, you will start over with an early morning breakfast and then transfer to the Masai cultural experience. During the visit to the village, you will engage in several activities like bead-making, cultural dances, cattle rearing, fashion designs, and many others. Then later in the afternoon, you will transfer to the nearest airstrip and fly to Nairobi.
