Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our driver guide. He or she will brief you about your safari. You will then drive to Murchison Falls National Park. During the transfer, you will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Rhino tracking involves walking around the sanctuary with a tour guide. Here, you will learn about stories of the conservation of rhinos. Later, proceed with the transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-day adventure in Murchison Falls National Park

The day will start with breakfast.  You will take a full-day adventure in Murchison Falls National Park. In this adventure, you will engage in the game drive, where you will spot several animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, and many others. In the afternoon, you will do a boat cruise on the River Nile. During the boat cruise, you will encounter aquatic animals like crocodiles, waterbucks, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Have breakfast and then hike to the top of the falls. Here, you will enjoy an exceptional experience as you witness roaring waters. After the hike, you will proceed to the transfer to the Kibale National Park. Upon arrival at Kibale National Park, you will have your lunch. In the afternoon, continue with the community visit of Bigodi Village. In this community, you will engage in several activities like coffee roasting, banana brewing, and many others.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You get up early and have breakfast. Afterward, you will transfer to the Park headquarters for a briefing. You will go ahead with gorilla trekking. That will take about 2 to7 hours of the day. Then, you will proceed with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you will check into a lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you will have a full-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The day starts with breakfast before doing a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. On this game drive, you will have an opportunity to encounter many animals, like lions, leopards, buffalos, and many others. After lunch, you will go for a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. During the boat cruise, you will encounter several wildlife like buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, and many others.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. In the transfer, you will make a stopover in the southern sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park for the game drive to spot several wildlife like the tree climbing lions. You will proceed to the transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and upon arrival, you will transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and community visit

Gorilla trekking will start after your breakfast with a briefing. Then you will go ahead with the activity, which will take about 2 to7 hours of the day. After the gorilla trek, you will proceed with the community visit of the Batwa in the park, where you will engage in activities like coffee roasting, cultural dance, and many others.

Day 8: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 8 will start with the morning breakfast and then head with the transfer to the Mgahinga gorilla national park that is within the south western Uganda. In the transfer, you will make a stopover at Lake Bunyonyi for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with a transfer to the Park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Golden monkey trekking

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about golden monkey trekking. In this briefing, you will learn the dos and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. You will go ahead with the activity, which will take about 2 to 5 hours of the day. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

On the second last day of the safari, you will proceed with the morning breakfast and then head with the transfer to the Lake Mburo National Park. In the transfer, you will make a stopover at the Igongo cultural experience of the Ankole culture. You will proceed to the park and engage in the evening game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, where you will see several leopards, zebras, giraffes, and many others.

Day 11: Community visit and transfer to Kampala

On the last day, you will engage in a community visit of the Ankole community near the park. You will encounter the long-horned cattle in the community. You will proceed with the transfer to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights.
