Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company guide. He or she will brief you about the 10 Days Uganda gorilla chimpanzee & Tanzania safari. You will then embark on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The first stop will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. The second stop will be in Masindi town for lunch. Proceed to the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, you will take a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to 4 of the big five animals namely; lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. You will also meet many savannah bird species. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Nile River. Here, you will see many crocodiles and hippos. You will also see different fish species. The boat will take you to the bottom of the falls. From here, you will hike to the top of the world’s strongest waterfalls. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. You will then check out of the lodge and drive to Kibale National Park. The park is known as the Primate Capital of the World. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Kanyanchu Park headquarters for a briefing. You will start on the search for chimpanzees. Upon meeting the chimps, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. This is an epic moment, take as many photos as your device can hold. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a walk around the Magombe Swamp and Bigodi Village. Meet the banana man in the banana village. See the women dancing traditional songs and participate in coffee making. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. If time is on your side, you may do an en-route game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lunch will be en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Mountain gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour
This is one of the best days in your 10 Days Uganda gorilla chimpanzee & Tanzania safari. The day will start with an early breakfast, then reporting to the park headquarters for briefing. You will then begin the search for mountain gorillas in the impenetrable thickest of Bwindi. With the help of experienced guides, you will spot these gorillas just in time. Once you meet the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa Communities. The Batwa people are hospitable and they will welcome you with traditional songs and performances. Feel free to taste their meals and dance with them. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali and fly to Arusha – Tanzania
After breakfast, you will cross to Rwanda for about 2 hours to Kigali International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, you will board your flight to Arusha – Tanzania. Once you arrive in Tanzania, our company guide will pick you up and take you to a hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Serengeti National Park. The park is home to the great wildebeest migration experience. You may opt for an afternoon game drive. This will introduce you to the vast savannah plains of Tanzania. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 9: Full-day game drives in Serengeti National Park
This is yet a great day on your 0 Days Uganda gorilla chimpanzee & Tanzania safari. The day starts with a delicious breakfast. Head out with a box of packed lunch and take a full-day game drive in the Serengeti plains. The park is big but you will do your best to enjoy the views of wildlife, birds, and vegetation. You will encounter the wildebeest migration as well as other animals. Some of the animals to be spotted include; lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, and many more. Lunch will be under a tree in the middle of the bush or near a hippo pool. Proceed with your game drive and witness the wildebeests cross a river. In the evening, you will transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Transfer to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and take an en-route game drive in the Serengeti plains. Lunch will be along the way as you head to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will bid farewell to our team and spend a night at a hotel. Alternatively, the driver guide will drop you at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight. This will mark the end of your safari.
