Day 1: Pick up & travel to Lake Nakuru National Park (Kenya)
After you have enjoyed a delicious breakfast, meet your driver guide for a warm greeting and briefing about this special 10 Days Kenya Safari. Arrive early and enjoy lunch, relax then set off for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru NP isn’t only famous for its huge concentration of lesser and greater flamingos but is also home to black and white rhinos.
Day 2: Full-day wildlife tour in Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy a combined wildlife viewing and birding tour in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lying along the Rift Valley area, Lake Nakuru National Park is a rich habitat for big game and other wildlife species. The expected animal sightings on the Lake Nakuru National Park tour include the Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, waterbucks, cape buffaloes, impalas, black & white rhinos, spotted hyenas, lions, leopards, gazelles, birds such as lesser & greater flamingos, white pelicans, blue-eared starling, Hottentot teal, and more. Day 3: Transfer to watch wildebeests in Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will meet the driver guide for pick up and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. This extensive nature reserve is found in Narok County, a rift valley area, and getting here takes a 4-5 hour drive from Lake Nakuru N. Park.
Day 4: Full-Day wildlife tour in Masai Mara
Pick up at your respective lodge and set off with a packed lunch to explore Masai Mara’s vast plains. You will be guaranteed incredible animal sightings. And a full-day wildebeest migration experience if this tour falls around July, August to September. Masai Mara N. Reserve’s wildlife to see besides wildebeests include the Thompson’s gazelles, bat-eared foxes, giraffes. Impalas, zebras, topis, cheetahs, rhinos, hyenas. Lions, leopards, jackals, and birds. At the Mara River, you will also keep an eye on the abundant hippo population and Nile Crocodiles.
Day 5: Second wildlife expedition at Masai Mara
Set off for a hot air balloon tour for aerial game viewing in the Masai Mara Reserve. This may come with bush breakfast and expect to enjoy the most aerial view of this reserve’s abundant wildlife including the big 5 game, wildebeest, and landscape. After the balloon tour, proceed with a normal game drive and return later in the afternoon.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park wildlife tour
You will be transferred from Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park. The long day road trip will take about 7 to 8 hours’ drive inclusive of en-route lunch. Day 7: Full Day tour of Amboseli National Park
After having a hot cup of tea/coffee, leave the lodge for a full-day game viewing in Amboseli National Park. This park is endowed with wildlife and today’s sightings will include buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants. And birds, etc. During the afternoon game wildlife drive, you will pay a visit to a swamp below observation hill.
Day 8: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Pick up by your professional driver and you will head off to Tsavo West National Park. This will be one-two hours’ drive and expect to get here early then embark on a morning game drive. Expected wild animal species to be spotted in Tsavo West NP include lesser Kudus, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Burchell’s zebras, hartebeest, elands, gazelles, waterbucks and more.
